Mycenaean Greeks and Mycenaean civilization spread to Aegean's island, the coast of Syria, and as far as the west in south Italy and Sicily.

THE FALL OF MYCENAEAN CIVILIZATION.
Mycenaean civilization was ruined around 1200BC by invaders. There are various arguments among scholars on the fall of Mycenaean civilizations, whether it was invaded by the Dorians Another Greek-speaking tribe that is migrating from the north or it is part of the general migration of the invaders that invaded the Hittite empire of Asia minor, the invaders who also penetrate as far as Egypt during the reign of Rames III. Whatever the case may be the result is the same, Mycenaean civilization was ruined, their palaces were smashed, the cities were decapitated and the economy was recessed, that is why the scholars named the era "dark age" which epoch was 1200BC.
